PDFlares is a mobile app designed for shops, small businesses, and freelancers to change the amount, date, and client name on a business PDF and send it on WhatsApp. You can use PDFlares completely offline as a guest without creating an account.

1. What Stays on Your Phone

Your bills, client contacts, and PDF letterhead layouts are stored locally on your device. If you use the app as a guest and never sign in, your documents and financial data never leave your phone.

2. What We Receive If You Use Optional Features

• Google Sign-In (Optional): If you choose to use the "Save on another phone" feature, Google shares your basic profile information (name, email address, and user ID) solely to authenticate your account and link your backup.
• Cloud Backup (Optional): If you choose to save your desk to another phone, your desk configuration file (bills, clients, template coordinates) and template PDFs are transmitted securely via HTTPS and stored in our dedicated Cloudflare cloud storage under your authenticated user ID so you can restore them.
• Crash and Diagnostic Reports: The application uses Google Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, and Cloud Messaging) to collect crash logs, device identifiers, and basic app usage statistics. This diagnostic telemetry helps us detect crashes and fix bugs. It is never used to show advertisements or track you across apps.

3. What We Do NOT Do

• No Advertisements: We do not display ads or integrate advertising SDKs.
• No Data Brokering: We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal or business data.
• No Access to WhatsApp Messages: When you share an invoice, the app uses Android's standard system share sheet. We cannot read your chats, contacts, or WhatsApp messages.
• No Financial Transactions: PDFlares is a document desk for generating and sharing PDFs. We do not move money, process payments, or connect to bank accounts.

4. Data Sharing and Service Providers

We only share data with the following infrastructure providers to deliver the app's functionality:

• Google (Firebase & Google Identity): For optional authentication, crash reporting, analytics, and service notifications.
• Cloudflare: For encrypted cloud backup storage, only if you explicitly choose to backup your desk.

5. Google API Services Compliance

PDFlares's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements. We request only basic identity scopes for sign-in and backup association. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, or Calendar.

6. Data Retention and Your Rights

• Guest Data: Stays on your phone until you clear app storage or uninstall PDFlares.
• Cloud Backups: Maintained only while your account save exists. You can request immediate and permanent deletion of your cloud backup at any time by emailing us.
• Account Deletion: You can sign out or request full account deletion directly through the app or by contacting support.

7. Children's Privacy

PDFlares is a business tool designed for commercial shops, independent contractors, and working professionals (aged 18+). It is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
